Manage Connections ​

Connections link Relayter to external systems and enable data exchange. Administrators can manage connections under Settings → Connections.

Connection types ​

Relayter supports the following connection types:

  • Webhook Consumer — Receive data or events from external systems and update Relayter data
  • Webhook Producer — Send data or events from Relayter to external systems
  • Superunie Adam — Connect to product data via the Superunie Adam platform
  • GS1 — Connect to Global Trade Item Numbers (GTIN) and product data via GS1
  • EM de Jong — Connect to product data via the EM de Jong supplier platform

View all connections ​

  1. Go to Settings → Connections.
  2. You'll see a table listing all connections by type and name.

Create a new connection ​

  1. Go to Settings → Connections.
  2. Click Add connection.
  3. Select a connection Type from the available options.
  4. Enter a Name for the connection.
  5. Configure the connection settings based on the type (see related guides for type-specific configuration).
  6. Save the connection.

Edit a connection ​

  1. Go to Settings → Connections.
  2. Click the connection name to open its details.
  3. Update the configuration.
  4. Save the changes.

Connection status ​

Status monitoring depends on the connection type:

  • Webhook Consumer connections have event-level status indicators. Each event can be Enabled, Disabled, or Unhealthy. When a webhook event is unhealthy, it has encountered errors and requires investigation. You can view the error reason and details to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Webhook Producer connections do not display status indicators in Relayter — monitoring happens at the external endpoint.
  • Superunie Adam, GS1, and EM de Jong connections do not have status indicators. These connections manage synchronizations of images and products, which run on their own schedule. If a synchronization fails, check the synchronization configuration and your connection credentials.

Delete a connection ​

  1. Go to Settings → Connections.
  2. Find the connection and click the delete icon (trash).
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting a connection removes it from Relayter. Any workflows or automations that depend on this connection will no longer function.
