Integrations
An integration connects Relayter to external systems so your team can exchange data, automate workflows, and manage team authentication. Administrators configure integrations under Settings → Team settings.
Relayter supports four types of integrations:
Connections
Connections exchange data or events with other systems. Common types include:
- Webhook Consumer — Receive data or events from external systems and update Relayter data
- Webhook Producer — Send data or events from Relayter to external systems
- Superunie Adam — Connect to product data via the Superunie Adam platform
- GS1 — Connect to Global Trade Item Numbers (GTIN) and product data via GS1
- EM de Jong — Connect to product data via the EM de Jong supplier platform
Your team may have additional connection types available depending on your subscription.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
SSO clients let you configure an organization's single sign-on provider (such as Auth0 or OpenID Connect platforms) for user authentication.
Identity providers define how Relayter syncs users and groups from your identity service using SCIM v2 (System for Cross-Domain Identity Management).
Together, SSO and identity providers enable:
- Team members to sign in via your organization's authentication system
- Automatic user and group provisioning and deprovisioning
- Centralized identity management
OAuth
OAuth clients authorize third-party applications to access Relayter data using permission-based scopes and grant types. Each client receives a unique credential set for secure API access.
Credentials and security
All integration settings may contain credentials, tokens, or secrets. Treat them as sensitive information and only grant access to administrators responsible for the integration.
