Projects
A Project is an alternative container for Publications, used instead of a Campaign. Projects live under Projects in the main navigation, and, like campaigns, have a name, tags, a status (New, Briefing, Production, Ready, Done), and can be scoped to Variants.
A publication belongs to either a campaign or a project, never both.
How a project differs from a campaign
Unlike a campaign, a project has no Briefing — there's no list of Campaign Items to manage, and a Campaign Item can never belong to a project. A project only has a Publications tab.
A project also has no start/end date and no Packages tab — both are specific to campaigns. Use a Project when you want to produce publications without a dated marketing initiative or a briefing to manage; use a Campaign when you need to plan a briefing and/or track packages against a start and end date.
