Asset Automation
Asset automation processes files uploaded through Add assets automated. Administrators configure it under Settings → Asset data → Automation settings.
The settings can extract values from filenames, map those values to Asset fields, find a Product through a selected Product data field, and link the resulting Asset automatically. Configured filters can also influence the data assigned during processing.
Automated uploads still follow normal Asset validation. An unsupported file type or a file whose content already belongs to another Asset is rejected. Test filename rules with representative files before using them for a bulk upload.
