Upload Assets

This guide walks through adding Assets to Relayter.

Steps

1. Go to Assets in the main navigation.
2. Click Add, then choose:
   • Add assets manually to provide information about the asset, optionally link it to a Product, and upload the file(s) yourself.
   • Add assets automated to upload files that get tagged and linked automatically, based on your team's automation settings (Settings → Data management → Asset data → Automation settings).
3. Follow the steps in the modal to provide the asset's information and upload its file.

Once uploaded, Relayter automatically generates a thumbnail and preview for image and video files.

Notes and limits

• You can't upload a file that's identical (same content) to a file already used by another asset — Relayter treats this as a duplicate.
• Only certain file types are supported. If you try to upload an unsupported file type, the upload will fail.
