Troubleshoot Delivery and Download Links
If a delivery or download link isn't working, try these steps:
Check the link
- Verify you have the correct link URL.
- Copy the URL from the email or message (don't retype it).
- Make sure there are no typos or extra spaces.
Check link expiration
- Delivery and download links have expiration dates.
- If the link has expired, request a new one from the person who sent it.
- They can regenerate the link in Relayter.
Check file availability
- Verify the files are still available in Relayter.
- If files were deleted, they can't be accessed via the link.
- Ask the creator to regenerate the package or files.
Check browser and cookies
- Try the link in a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
- Try the link again.
Check file status
- The files may still be processing or generating.
- Wait a few minutes and try again.
- Contact the sender if the files seem stuck.
Check permissions
- Verify you have permission to access the content.
- If the link requires authentication, sign in with the correct account.
- Ask the sender to verify you're listed as an authorized recipient.
Check internet connection
- Verify you have an active internet connection.
- Try the link on a different network (mobile hotspot, different WiFi).
Try downloading again
- Some downloads may fail due to temporary issues.
- Refresh the page (press Ctrl+R or Cmd+R).
- Try downloading the file again.
Browser download settings
- Check your browser's download settings and location.
- Some browsers may block downloads or require additional permissions.
- Verify your computer has enough storage space for the files.
Still having issues?
- Note the error message you see.
- Contact the person who sent you the link.
- They can check if the link is still valid and troubleshoot with you.
