Build Briefing, Product, and Asset Forms

Forms determine which data fields appear when team members add or edit Briefings, Products, and Assets. Each type (Briefing, Product, Asset) has one form. Administrators customize these forms to display only the fields that matter for their workflow.

  2. Select Briefing form.
  3. Click Edit form or Customize.
  4. In the form builder:
    • Left panel: Available data fields you can add to the form.
    • Right panel: The form layout. Drag fields from the left into the form area.
  5. Configure each field:
    • Click a field in the form to expand its options.
    • Editable: Uncheck to prevent users from editing this field (it becomes read-only).
    • Required: Check to require users to fill in this field before saving.
    • Placeholder: Enter hint text that appears in the field (for text, number, date, and dropdown fields).
    • Multiline: For text fields, check to create a larger text area.
  6. Organize fields by row (up to 3 fields per row).
  7. Drag the row handle (⋮⋮) to reorder rows.
  8. Click the trash icon to remove a field.
  9. Click Save to apply changes.

  5. Note: The preview form is read-only and cannot save data.

Field settings explained

  • Editable: When unchecked, the field appears in the form but team members cannot change it. Useful for display-only information.
  • Required: When checked, team members must fill in this field before they can save. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
  • Placeholder: The hint text that appears inside an empty field to guide users what to enter.
  • Multiline: For text fields, creates a larger text area instead of a single line. Useful for longer text like descriptions.
