Troubleshoot Missing Content or Actions

If you can't see certain content or actions in Relayter, it's likely a permissions or access control issue.

Content not visible

Check your role permissions

  1. Ask your team administrator which Role you have.
  2. Some content may be restricted based on your role.
  3. If you need access to additional content, ask your administrator to update your role or permissions.

Check content groups

  1. Ask your team administrator if content groups are in use.
  2. You might only see content assigned to your content groups.
  3. If you need access to specific content, ask your administrator to add you to the appropriate content group.

Check workflow state

  1. Campaigns and Publications in certain Workflow states may not be visible.
  2. For example, you might only see campaigns that are in "Production" or later states.
  3. Ask your administrator about workflow visibility restrictions.

Check publication status

  1. Publications not yet created may not appear.
  2. Deleted publications are not visible to regular users (only administrators can see deleted items).

Actions not available

Check your permissions

  1. Certain actions (create, edit, delete, approve) require specific permissions.
  2. Ask your administrator which actions your role allows.

Check workflow step permissions

  1. In Workflows, different steps restrict which actions are allowed.
  2. A Publication Item in the "Layout" step might not allow approval actions; only the "Review" step allows approvals.
  3. Move the item to the correct step to access the needed actions.

Check item status

  1. Some actions are only available in certain states.
  2. For example, you can't export a Publication until all items are complete.
