Workflow Automations
A Workflow automation uses rules to create Publication Items from a campaign Briefing. Each rule has conditions, a Template, and a creation mode: one item for each matching Briefing Item or one item containing all matches. A rule can also create an item when nothing matches.
Automations are reusable and separate from workflow configurations. They become available inside a publication only when that publication's workflow contains an Automation component and the automation matches any configured tag filter.
The automation can skip Publication Items that would duplicate items it has already generated. Running it starts background processing; the resulting items appear when processing finishes.
